CORONAVIRUS / Covid-19

The vaccine rollout is ongoing and many have now had at least one dose, and many, many more have had 2 doses

Summer (2021) postal shooting was not considered universally viable due to many ranges being extremely limited in terms of being Covid-safe, or NOT in a lot of cases.

Entry Forms for Winter postal competition are out and about, if you haven’t received one direct, they are on the entry forms page. Closing date for entries is the end of the month so you need to be quick. We will take late entries but you are cutting down on your shooting time!

The Bisley Long Range Championships are scheduled for the traditional dates (2nd Tues in Sept) 14, 15, 16 Sept, 2021 once again though, fully dependant upon the grip of Covid!

Bisley entry forms are now available on the Entries page

In the meantime, if you are on the front line take care and stay safe otherwise . . . .  stay home and stay safe

The shooting section are delighted to announce that the organisation of the postal leagues has been taken on by Andy Germain (Sth Wales). Andy will eventually take on the Short Range and Long Range Championship qualifying rounds in a couple of years, to allow him to get to grips with the league requirements first.

Hopefully the current block of score administrators will remain in place to help to smooth out the transition.

We are still looking for someone to take over running this website. You might have ideas how to smarten it up, streamline it or do something else to it!

All you need to remember is that this is the centre where all police shooters can come for information and unfortunately due to other commitments at work, domestically and socially I now, no longer have the spare capacity to maintain it as often as I would like
